How to Reach

By Air: The nearest major airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) in Kolkata, approximately 185-200 KMs away. From the airport, one must take a taxi, bus, or train to Digha. The entire journey from the airport to the park would take approximately 4 to 6 hours depending on road traffic.

By Train: The park is conveniently located near the New Digha Railway Station (DGHA). It is only about 1 KM away. Travelers can take direct trains from Kolkata (like the Tamralipta Express or Kandari Express) to DGHA. From the station, the park is a short 10-15 minute walk, a quick cycle rickshaw ride, or a minimum fare auto-rickshaw journey.

By Road: Digha is well-connected by road to Kolkata and other cities in West Bengal and Odisha. State Transport Buses (WBTC, OSAC) and private luxury buses run daily from Kolkata (primarily from Esplanade or Howrah) to New Digha. The journey takes around 4. 5 to 5. 5 hours. Once in New Digha, the park is a known landmark near the beach, easily reachable by local transport like auto-rickshaws, e-rickshaws, or cycle rickshaws.

By Local Transport: Being centrally located in New Digha, the park is easily accessible. Cycle Rickshaws and Auto-rickshaws (Totos/E-rickshaws) are the most common and convenient local transport. They can be hired from any point in Old Digha or New Digha, usually charging a nominal fixed fare depending on the distance. Walking is also an excellent option if staying near the New Digha Beach.
