How To Reach Bachelors View Point
Vikarabad, Telangana, India:
A Serene, Unofficial Lookout in Ananthagiri: Bachelors View Point is a slightly more secluded and less commercialized viewpoint in the Ananthagiri Hills region, often favored by younger crowds and those looking for a quiet spot away from the main tourist rush near the Haritha Resort area. While its name suggests a specific crowd, it is a serene spot accessible to all. It provides a different perspective of the forest and valley compared to the main Photo Point, often looking over a slightly more rugged or unkempt side of the hills. The spot is typically less developed, offering a raw, untouched feel to the environment. The views here are particularly celebrated during the late afternoon and early evening, providing a stunning backdrop for the sunset. It is a perfect place for quiet reflection, photography, and enjoying the tranquility of the Deccan forests. Its location requires a small detour or a short walk from the main road, adding to its sense of being a 'discovered' spot. The rugged beauty of the surrounding trees and the distant plains make it a unique stop.

How to Reach

By Air: The nearest major airport is Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) in Hyderabad (98-100 KMS). A taxi can be hired, first to Vikarabad, and then towards the Ananthagiri Hills area, taking about 2. 5 to 3 hours.

By Train: The closest station is Vikarabad Junction (VKB), about 9 KMS away. From the station, hire a private taxi or auto-rickshaw. You will need to tell the driver the specific name or landmark near Machanpally-Aknapur as it is not a major, clearly signposted stop.

By Road: The point is located off the main road connecting Vikarabad to the Ananthagiri Temple area, near the village of Machanpally-Aknapur. Drive to the general area and ask locals or follow a reliable GPS for the final detour onto the path.

By Local Transport: A dedicated private auto-rickshaw or cab is required for the final leg, as shared local transport typically does not go right up to this specific, secluded spot. Ensure the driver knows the location well and is paid for a round trip.
