By Rail Network: The closest railway station is Kathgodam (KGM), which is approximately 90 KMS from Ranikhet. Major trains like the Ranikhet Express and Shatabdi connect it to Delhi. From Kathgodam, you can take a bus or a shared taxi to reach Ranikhet and then hire a local cab for the final 19 KMS to the temple.
By Road Journey: Ranikhet is well-connected by road to major cities like Delhi (350 KMS), Dehradun, and Nainital. You can take a state-run UKSRTC bus or a private luxury bus to Ranikhet. From the main Ranikhet bus stand, the temple is a 45-minute drive on the Ranikhet-Ramnagar road.
By Local Transport: Within Ranikhet, the most convenient way to reach Binsar Mahadev is by hiring a private taxi. Shared jeeps are also available from the KMOU bus stand, but they usually go up to Soni village, from where you might have to walk a short distance or take another local lift to the temple entrance.
