By Train:The nearest major railway station is Silchar Railway Station (SCL) in Assam, about 300 KM away. From Silchar, hire a cab or take a long-distance bus to Aizawl, then continue to Serchhip by shared taxi or bus. The train journey from other parts of India is long and requires a significant road journey onward.
By Road:Serchhip is well-connected by NH6 (formerly NH54) from Aizawl (112 KM). Take a shared sumo/maxi cab or a state bus from the Aizawl bus station to Serchhip. The journey takes around 3-5 hours. From Serchhip, hire a local jeep or taxi to the cave, as it is located on an adventurous, non-paved road near Thenzawl.
By Local Transport:From Serchhip town, the most reliable local transport to the cave area will be a privately hired jeep, taxi, or a two-wheeler, as local shared transport may not reach the exact site due to the challenging road conditions. Negotiate the return trip price beforehand.
