By Railway Connectivity: Kathgodam is the main railway station nearby, at a distance of about 85 KMS. From the station, several shared taxis and buses are available to Ranikhet. The drive from Kathgodam takes around 3 hours through lush green forests and hilly terrain.
By Road Access: Ranikhet is well-connected to Delhi by a 360 KMS long road network. You can take a direct bus from ISBT Anand Vihar. Once you reach Ranikhet, the temple is just 4. 5 KMS away. The road to the temple is narrow but fully metalled and accessible by all types of vehicles.
By Local Transport: From the Ranikhet main market or bus stand, you can easily hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi to reach the Hairakhan Temple. For the more adventurous, it is a pleasant 45-minute uphill walk that offers great exercise and beautiful views of the town and the mountains.
