Trivandrum International Airport (TRV): Short Drive The
Trivandrum International Airport (TRV) is approximately 9 KMS away. From the airport, a taxi or app-based cab (Uber/Ola) will take you directly to the palace. The journey is short and straightforward, usually taking about 25 to 35 minutes.
By Train:
Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (TVC): Close Proximity The
Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station (TVC) is only about 3 KMS away. It is an extremely easy and quick journey by auto-rickshaw (negotiate fare or use the meter) or a local taxi. The station is a major hub, connecting the city to the rest of India.
By Road: Central City Location The palace is located right in the city center, near the Napier Museum and Palayam. If driving, follow signs for the Museum complex. Plenty of local city buses run on routes that stop near the 'Museum' or 'Kanakakunnu' stop, making public transport a very viable and economical option from the main bus station (which is also near the railway station).
By Local Transport: Auto-Rickshaw and Walk The best way to reach the palace from nearby city areas is by auto-rickshaw. It is also a very pleasant 5 to 10 minute walk from the Sree Chitra Art Gallery and Napier Museum, as they are immediately adjacent to each other.
