By Air:

Via Mangaluru or Kannur: Arrive at Mangaluru International Airport (IXE) (approx. 75-80 KMS) or Kannur International Airport (CNN) (approx. 100-110 KMS). A taxi ride is necessary from the airport, taking about 2 to 3 hours to reach Kappil Beach. Since Kappil is a smaller village, it is best to hire a taxi for a dedicated trip rather than relying on multiple changes of local transport.

By Train:

Nearest Stations - Kanhangad or Kasaragod: The nearest major stations are Kanhangad Railway Station (KZE) and Kasaragod Railway Station (KGQ), both approximately 12-18 KMS away. From either station, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi. The road from the station is generally good, and the final stretch is a local coastal road.

By Road:

Via Bekal Coastal Route: Kappil Beach is easily reached by road via the scenic coastal route from Bekal Fort, which is about 6 KMS away. State and private buses operate on the main coastal route. Get off at the main Kappil junction, from where it is a short walk or auto-rickshaw ride to the beach and Kodi Cliff. If driving, the road is picturesque, running alongside the sea.

By Local Transport:

Auto-Rickshaw from Bekal: The most convenient local option is to hire an auto-rickshaw from the main tourist area near Bekal Fort. Negotiate the fare for a return trip, including waiting time, as auto-rickshaws might not be as frequent at the beach end. A one-way ride should take around 15 to 20 minutes.
