BY AIR: The nearest major airport is Birsa Munda Airport (IXR) in Ranchi, approximately 160 KMS away, or Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) in Kolkata, which is about 250 KMS away. From either airport, one can hire a pre-booked taxi or take a train to Ghatsila. Ranchi is the closer option for a domestic flight.

BY TRAIN: The most convenient way is by train. Ghatsila Railway Station (GTS) is on the Howrah-Mumbai mainline. It is well-connected to major cities like Kolkata, Tatanagar (Jamshedpur), and Mumbai. From the railway station, you can hire a local transport to the viewpoint.

BY ROAD: Ghatsila is well-connected by National Highway 33 (NH 33). Regular bus services and private taxis are available from Jamshedpur (approx. 45 KMS) and Kolkata (approx. 250 KMS). The road journey is scenic, passing through forests and small towns. The last few kilometers to Lakaisini Hill from the main road are covered by a local, sometimes rough, road.

BY LOCAL TRANSPORT: From Ghatsila town center or the railway station, the best way to reach Lakaisini Hill View Point is by hiring a local auto-rickshaw or a private taxi/cab. It is advisable to negotiate the fare in advance and arrange for a return trip, as transport options might be limited near the viewpoint. :
