By Train to Jiribam:Take a train to Jiribam Railway Station (JIR). From the station, hire a local jeep or taxi. The falls are situated in a hilly, slightly remote area, so a four-wheeler is recommended for the final approach, especially during the rains.
By Road from Jiribam:From the main town of Jiribam, the falls are approximately 25 KMS away. Hire a private vehicle, preferably a higher-ground-clearance jeep or local Tata Sumo. The drive is scenic but involves traveling on the NH 37 area (the Imphal-Jiribam Highway) and turning onto a smaller, possibly unpaved local road for the final few kilometers. The total travel time from the town is around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
By Local Transport within Jiribam:Hiring an entire auto-rickshaw can get you close, but they may not be able to navigate the final rough patch of road to the trekking start point. It is best to negotiate a return fare with a local jeep or taxi driver who is familiar with the exact location and conditions of the final trail head. Ensure the driver agrees to wait for the duration of your visit.
