By Train: Nearest major station is Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Railway Station (YJUD), about 40 KMS away. Hire a private taxi for the scenic journey to the head works.
By Road: It is located on the road leading from Yamunanagar towards Paonta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh. Follow the signs for Hathnikund Barrage (the replacement), as Tajewala is just downstream.
By Local Transport: A hired taxi (round trip) is highly recommended, as public transport access is limited and unreliable for the final distance. The journey takes about an hour from Yamunanagar.
