How to Reach
By Train: The nearest major railway station is Mettupalayam (MTP), 40 km away, and the closest NMR station is Ooty Railway Station. From Ooty town, the viewpoint is a simple 4 km taxi or auto-rickshaw ride on the Coonoor road. You could also take the NMR down to Ketti station and then take a short local taxi ride up to the viewpoint.
By Road: Valley View is on National Highway 67 (NH 67), the main road connecting Ooty and Coonoor. It is about 4 km from the center of Ooty and about 16 km from Coonoor. It is easily reachable by any vehicle (private car, hired taxi, or public bus) traveling this route.
By Local Transport: The most convenient way is a local taxi, auto-rickshaw, or a local town bus heading towards Coonoor from the Ooty Bus Stand. Always specify the destination as 'Ketti Valley Viewpoint'. :
