King George Point
Introduction: King George Point is a captivating viewpoint in Matheran, nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery. It is most famous for offering stunning, close-up views of the beautiful Charlotte Lake, the primary source of water for the hill station. During the monsoon, the point becomes par ticularly spectacular as waterfalls cascade down the surrounding cliffs. Key Features: It provides a picturesque panorama of the deep valleys and the reservoir of Charlotte Lake. The point is located a short distance from Echo Point and Honeymoon Point, making it a popular stop on the Southern circuit of viewpoints. It is named after King George V during the British era.
