The Zawlbuk: Historically, the village had a "Zawlbuk" or bachelor's dormitory, a massive timber structure with a large central hearth.
Architectural Style: The architecture is functional and designed to withstand heavy monsoon rains, with steep sloped roofs and wide verandahs called "Sumhmun. " Small bamboo fences surround the kitchen gardens, adding to the organized and neat appearance of the village streets. -
