Things To Do
-
River Gazing and Heritage Walks: Walking across the old bridge (if permitted) or viewing it from the new one is a primary activity. The rocky riverbank is excellent for "rock hopping" and exploring the water's edge. Photography of the bridge arches against the sunset is a top priority. Many locals visit for shore-fishing in the deeper pockets of the river. It is a perfect spot for a quick tea break while traveling on NH-43. Observing the different species of river birds is very relaxing. Some visitors enjoy painting or sketching the scenic landscape. Exploring the nearby Raidih village gives an insight into the local culture. It's a great spot for drone photography due to the symmetry of the bridges and the river. Many travelers stop here to feel the cool breeze coming off the water.
