Ushabali Waterfall

Daringbadi, Odisha, India
Ushabali Waterfall, often referred to locally as part of the Midubanda circuit, is one of the most popular attractions near Daringbadi. The waterfall is famous for its clean, cool water and the dramatic stairs one must descend to reach the base. There are approximately 180 to 190 stairs that lead v isitors down into a valley where the water falls gracefully over rocky ledges. The area is surrounded by a thick canopy of trees, which keeps the temperature significantly cooler than the surrounding hills. It is a fantastic spot for nature lovers who enjoy the thrill of a short trek combined with the reward of a beautiful waterfall. The pool at the bottom is relatively shallow in most parts, allowing tourists to enjoy a natural shower. The site is well-maintained with a parking area and some small local shops at the top. The rhythmic sound of the falling water can be heard from the parking lot, building anticipation for the view below. It is often called the "Kashmir of Odisha's" hidden treasure. The greenery is most vibrant right after the monsoon season.
