Waghai Botanical Garden
Waghai Botanical Garden is the largest garden in Gujarat, spanning across a massive 24 hectares (60 acres) of land. Established in 1966, it serves as a crucial center for the conservation of biodiversity in the Western Ghats. The garden is meticulously divided into several plots, each representing different forest types found across India, such as Evergreen, Moist Deciduous, and Scrub forests. It houses more than 1,400 species of plants, including a vast collection of medicinal herbs, cacti, and succulents. One of the major highlights is the "Bamboo Plot," which features diverse varieties of bamboo like the Golden Bamboo and Chinese Bamboo.
