Sidhraj Jaysinh Chhab Talav
Chhab Talav is a historic lake that dates back to the Solanki era, believed to have been built by the great King Siddhraj Jaisinh. According to local legends, the lake was excavated by his army using their "Chhab" (baskets) while they were camping here. Recently, under the Smart City Mission, the l ake has undergone a massive transformation into a modern recreational zone. It now features a beautiful promenade, musical fountains, and lush gardens. It serves as the primary "lung" of the city, providing a space for morning walkers and families. The reflection of the city lights in the water at night creates a mesmerizing view. It is not just a water body but a symbol of Dahod's heritage merging with modern urban planning. Every visitor to the city makes it a point to spend an evening by its banks.
