Dada Siba Fort / Temple

Pragpur, Himachal Pradesh, India
Sub Place Details: Dada Siba is a hidden architectural jewel famous for its Radha Krishna Temple and the historic fort ruins. Built by Raja Ram Singh over 18 years, the temple was intended to bring the spirit of Mathura to the Kangra hills. It is renowned for its world-class Kangra Miniature style w all paintings that cover every inch of the inner sanctum. The fort area once served as the seat of the Dada Siba princely state. Unlike the more crowded temples, this place offers a quiet, contemplative atmosphere where history speaks through art. The stone used for the temple was specially brought from Agra and Jaipur, making it a unique mix of Rajasthani and Pahari styles.
