The altitude is approximately 2452 meters. The valley floor is crisscrossed by several cold-water streams. Legend says the valley was named 'Dzukou' meaning 'cold water' in the local dialect. Many trekkers prefer this side for its raw natural beauty. The base camp serves as a resting point before the final ascent. Local guides are available to navigate the steep terrain. The biodiversity here includes various rhododendrons and rare birds. It is a plastic-free zone and strictly monitored. The trekking path is a mix of steep climbs and flat meadows.
