By Train: The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT), approximately 270 KMS away. Take a taxi/bus to Pahalgam.
By Road: Betaab Valley is very accessible by road. You must hire a local taxi from the Pahalgam taxi stand for a fixed-rate round trip (including Chandanwari and Aru as a package is common). The drive from Pahalgam main town is about 7 KMS and takes 15-20 minutes.
By Local Transport: Local taxi union cabs are the standard and most convenient transport option. They are readily available and operate on fixed, non-negotiable rates for the valley circuit. Shared taxis are also available but less frequent for the exact point-to-point journey.
