How to Reach
By Train: The nearest major railhead is Jammu Tawi (JAT), approx. 280 KMS. From Jammu, take a taxi or bus to Anantnag and then a local taxi to Pahalgam. The viewpoint is a short drive from the main Pahalgam market. :
By Road: Pahalgam is well-connected. From Srinagar (95 KMS), take a taxi. Once in Pahalgam, hire a local taxi (union taxi) for the trip which usually includes the viewpoint as part of the Aru/Betaab/Chandanwari route. :
By Local Transport: From the Pahalgam Taxi Stand, hire a local yellow tourist taxi to the viewpoint. Since it is close to the town center, a short, dedicated taxi ride is the only reliable and recommended local transport option. :
