The taxi fare can range from Rs.1500 to Rs.2500. Another option is Gaya International Airport (GAY), which is further, about 160 KMS away, and offers limited connectivity.

By Train: Ramgarh Cantonment Railway Station (RMT) is the city's main railway station and is quite close to Indira Market. It is well-connected to major cities like Ranchi, Dhanbad, Howrah (Kolkata), Patna, and Delhi via express and passenger trains. Upon arrival at the Ramgarh Cantonment Station, the market is a short distance (around 1-2 KMS) and can be reached easily by a short auto-rickshaw ride (approx. Rs.30-Rs.50) or a cycle-rickshaw. This is generally the most convenient and cost-effective way to reach Ramgarh.

By Road: Ramgarh is strategically located on National Highway 33 (NH 33), providing excellent road connectivity. It is about 50 KMS from Hazaribagh and 45 KMS from Ranchi. One can also hire a private car or taxi from Ranchi or Dhanbad for a comfortable journey. The road network is generally well-maintained.
