By Train: Nearest major railhead is Raipur Junction (R) (approx. 90 KMS). From Raipur, take a cab or bus to Dhamtari. Dhamtari is about 15 KM from the dam.
By Road: Easily accessible via State Highway from Dhamtari (approx. 15 KM) and well-connected to Raipur via NH30. Excellent road condition makes private car or hired taxi the best option.
By Local Transport: Regular auto-rickshaws and shared taxis are available from Dhamtari bus stand to Gangrel Dam. :
