By Train: Nearest major railhead is Raipur Junction (R) (approx. 160 KM). From Raipur, take a bus or taxi to Dhamtari or Nagri and then a local vehicle to the dam.
By Road: Sondhur Dam is approx. 70 KM from Dhamtari city, located deep in the Nagri forest area. The road condition may be moderate to good. A hired taxi or private vehicle is the most reliable transport option.
By Local Transport: Limited local buses run to the nearby Nagri block, but a private hire is essential for the final stretch to the dam and for the return trip, given the remote location. :
