How To Reach Tamlou Village

How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Imphal and then take a road journey to Tamenglong. From Tamenglong town, a private taxi can take you to Tamlou Village in about 45 minutes.

By Train: Use Dimapur or Jiribam railway stations and then proceed by road. The journey from Jiribam to Tamenglong is shorter but the road can be challenging during the rains.

By Road: The village is connected by a narrow but paved road from the main Tamenglong town. It is a short and scenic drive that passes through several smaller hamlets and bamboo forests.

By Local Transport: There are no regular buses to the village, so hiring a local "auto" or a private jeep from the Tamenglong taxi stand is the most common way to reach.
