How to Reach
By Train: The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT), approximately 270 KMS to Pahalgam base.
By Road: Not accessible by road for tourist vehicles. You must drive to Pahalgam and then take the pony/trek route via Baisaran.
By Local Transport: Pony/Trek is the only way. The trek starts effectively from Baisaran Valley. The route is difficult, involving steep ascents, rocky patches, and sometimes snow crossings, requiring careful footing and a local guide.
