Jaksani Naganna Bavi
Jaksani Naganna Bavi is a stunning 18th-century stepwell located in Lingampet. It was commissioned by Rani Lingamma Desai to provide water to the village. The construction was supervised by Jaksani Naganna, after whom the well is named. It is roughly 100 feet deep and has three magnificent levels. The well was designed not just for humans but also for animals, with wider stairs on one side for horses and elephants. It represents the height of Pappanapet Samasthanam's civil engineering. The well is a sturdy structure that has survived neglect for decades. It is currently being rediscovered by heritage enthusiasts. The architecture is a mix of functionality and aesthetic beauty. It stands as a symbol of the queen's care for her subjects. :
