Fishing with Locals: You can observe the local fishermen and sometimes join them for a short ride in their coracles. Learning about their fishing techniques and the types of fish found in the reservoir provides a glimpse into the local rural economy.
Evening Walks on the Bund: The long, paved road along the reservoir's edge is perfect for an evening stroll. The cool breeze from the water makes it a pleasant place for exercise or a casual walk with friends, away from the dust and noise of the city.
Kayaking: For those who want a bit of a workout, kayaking is available. Navigating the calm waters on your own gives you a sense of freedom and allows you to explore the quieter corners of the reservoir that are not accessible by larger boats.
Photography of the Spillways: The engineering sections of the reservoir, like the gates and spillways, are impressive structures. Taking photos of the gushing water (when the gates are open) or the massive concrete architecture provides a different perspective on the site's beauty.
