Rayikal Waterfalls

Karimnagar, Telangana, India
Rayikal Waterfalls is one of the most popular seasonal attractions in the district, drawing thousands of visitors during the monsoon. Nestled amidst the dense forest area of the Rayikal mandal, the waterfall is formed by a stream that drops from a height of about 50 feet onto a bed of rocks. The wa ter then flows through a rocky terrain, creating several smaller pools where people can bathe. To reach the main fall, visitors often have to walk through a small forest trail, which adds an element of adventure to the trip. The sound of the gushing water can be heard from a distance, building anticipation as you approach. The area is surrounded by diverse flora, and during the rains, the entire landscape turns a vibrant emerald green. It is a preferred destination for weekend getaways, where families and youth groups come to enjoy the cool water and the natural ambiance. Because it is seasonal, the waterfall has a "here today, gone tomorrow" charm that makes it a must-visit during the rainy months.
