The structure is made of locally quarried gray stone, measuring approximately 12x8 feet, designed to withstand extreme mountain weather. Its design is minimalist, echoing the British colonial preference for "viewing pavilions" that blend into the rugged landscape. Surrounding the seat are small, paved stone areas that serve as picnic spots. There are no large buildings at the summit, which helps maintain its natural charm. However, the trekking path itself features some "Step-Architecture," with stone-laid stairs and wooden railings in steeper sections to prevent erosion and ensure visitor safety. Near the base and along the path, you can see old colonial-style cottages with slanted tin roofs and stone chimneys that are typical of the Ayarpatta region. The summit also has a few small wooden stalls that serve tea and snacks, built in a temporary "shack" style to be non-permanent. The layout of the viewpoint is circular, allowing visitors to walk around the edge of the cliff to get different perspectives of the valley and the town below. -
