Health & Safety:Always wear reef-safe sunscreen to protect the delicate coral and your skin, as the tropical sun is intense. Only swim and snorkel in the designated areas within the lagoon, and never venture beyond the reef crest into the open sea. Be aware that medical facilities on Bitra are extremely basic, so ensure you carry a comprehensive first-aid kit and any personal medication. Keep a safe distance from all marine life—do not touch corals or turtles.

Packing Essentials:Pack lightweight, breathable cotton clothing and good quality swimwear. A wide-brimmed hat, polarized sunglasses, and a good quality water bottle are essential. Due to the limited infrastructure, it's wise to pack your own snorkeling mouthpiece or mask if possible.
