The tower stands approximately 100 feet tall, constructed with locally quarried stone and mortar. Its design features a square base that tapers slightly as it rises. The most prominent architectural feature is the pointed, pyramid-style roof covered in green-painted corrugated metal, typical of hill station bungalows. Each of the four sides of the tower houses a large circular clock face with Roman numerals and ornate black hands. The windows of the tower are narrow and arched, reflecting the Gothic style. The main municipality building attached to it features wide verandahs and wooden railings. The dimensions of the tower's base are roughly 20 feet by 20 feet.
Mechanical Details: Inside the tower, a series of heavy metal weights and gears drive the clock mechanism. The bells are designed to chime on the hour, a sound that carries across the valley on quiet nights. The surrounding square has been recently renovated with stone tiles and benches, creating a small plaza around the base of this architectural giant. -
