One of its most famous exhibits is a telescope once used by the Welsh missionary Watkin Roberts, who brought Christianity to the region. Another significant item is a leather cannon used during tribal uprisings against colonial forces. The museum's mission is to educate the world about the Tibeto-Burman roots of the local population, who are spread across India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. The collection includes ancient currencies, ivory ornaments, and wooden utensils that reflect a self-sufficient lifestyle. The curator is often available to give personal tours, sharing anecdotes that are not found in history books. The museum is surrounded by a peaceful garden, making it a quiet retreat within the bustling town of Lamka. It stands as a testament to the resilience and pride of the Zo community in the face of modern changes.
