Gohar Mahal
Gohar Mahal is an architectural masterpiece built in 1820 by Qudsiya Begum, also known as Gohar Begum, who was the first female ruler of Bhopal. Situated on the banks of the scenic Bhojtal (Upper Lake), the palace is a stunning blend of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles. It served as a symbol o f the empowerment of women in the Nawabi era and was the residence of the Begum.
