By Local Transport (From Gangtok): Located about 3-4 KMS from the city center. Hire a local private taxi or a shared jeep from the main Gangtok taxi stand. The road up to the monastery is motorable, but the last section can be steep and winding.
Proximity to other sites: It is often included in the 'Upper Gangtok' local sightseeing package, along with Tashi View Point and Ganesh Tok.
