How To Reach Khangkhui Mangsor Cave

Archaeological and Historical Significance: The Khangkhui Mangsor Cave, or Khangkhui Cave, is a magnificent natural limestone cave system of immense archaeological and historical importance, located near the village of Khangkhui. How to Reach

By Air: Nearest airport is Imphal International Airport (IMF) (Approx. 90-100 KMS from Ukhrul town). From Imphal, hire a taxi or take a shared sumo to Ukhrul (3-4 hours drive).

By Train: Nearest major railway station is Dimapur Railway Station (DMV) in Nagaland (Approx. 210-220 KMS from Ukhrul town). From Dimapur, take a bus or hired cab directly to Ukhrul (6-7 hours drive).

By Road: Khangkhui Mangsor Cave is located about 16 KMS east of Ukhrul town on the road towards Khangkhui Village. From Ukhrul, hire a local taxi or a shared jeep to Khangkhui Village. The drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The approach road from the main highway to the cave entrance might be a bit rough.

By Local Transport: A reserved or shared local cab (Sumo) from the main Ukhrul market area is the most practical way to reach the village and the cave site. Clearly specify the destination as Khangkhui Mangsor Cave. :
