By Road: Nainital is well-served by national highways. State and private buses run regularly to Tallital Bus Stand from major cities like Delhi, Dehradun, and Haldwani. Driving into the central area is restricted during peak season, so park outside the main town and take a local rickshaw.
By Local Transport: The lake is the center of town. You can hire a cycle-rickshaw or a hand-pulled rickshaw for short distances along Mall Road, or simply walk, as the lake is the reference point for all other attractions. :
