How to Reach

By Air: Netarhat does not have its own airport. The nearest major airport is Birsa Munda Airport (IXR) in Ranchi, which is approximately 155-160 Kms away from Netarhat.



Connectivity
: Ranchi Airport is well-connected with major Indian metro cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore via regular domestic flights.

From Ranchi Airport to Netarhat: Upon landing, the best way to reach Netarhat is by hiring a pre-paid taxi or a private cab. The journey takes about 4. 5 to 6 hours depending on road and traffic conditions. You can also take a shared taxi or a bus from Ranchi to Netarhat.

By Train: Netarhat also lacks a railway station. The nearest major railway station is Ranchi Junction (RNC), located approximately 150-155 Kms away.



Connectivity
: Ranchi Junction is a major railhead with excellent connectivity to most parts of India, including popular cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Howrah (Kolkata).

From Ranchi Railway Station to Netarhat: Similar to the airport, one must hire a taxi, private cab, or take a state/private bus from the station to reach Netarhat. The road journey is scenic but takes several hours.

Other Nearby Station: Kumendi is a smaller station closer but with limited connectivity; hence Ranchi is the preferred major railhead.

By Road: Netarhat is well-connected by road, offering a scenic drive.
