How To Reach Rocky Island

It is located just 2 km from the famous tea-growing village of Samsing. The area was popularized by early adventurers who sought a more rugged camping experience. How to Reach

By Air: Bagdogra airport is 95 km away. The drive takes 3 hours through the Gajoldoba or Sevoke route.

By Train: New Mal Junction is the nearest station at 18 km. Shared jeeps for Samsing are available here.

By Road: From Siliguri, drive to Chalsa, then turn left toward Matelli and Samsing.

By Local Transport: Shared jeeps from Malbazar to Samsing run frequently; from Samsing, it’s a 2 km walk or local taxi.
