By Air: Fly to Imphal (IMF); Thinungei is about a 1-hour drive south on the Tiddim Road.

By Train: Reach via Imphal from Dimapur or the upcoming Jiribam-Imphal line.

By Road: The village is situated directly on the Imphal-Churachandpur highway, making it very accessible.

By Local Transport: Take any bus or shared taxi heading towards Moirang or Churachandpur and get off at Thinungei.
