How To Reach Vajedu Waterfalls

Vajedu Waterfalls, famously known as Bogatha Waterfalls, is the second-largest waterfall in the state of Telangana. It is a spectacular natural site where the Cheekupally stream plunges off a massive rocky cliff, creating a wide curtain of water. The falls are located in the heart of a dense forest area, providing an incredibly scenic and wild backdrop. Over the years, the Telangana Tourism Department has developed this site with a focus on eco-tourism, adding amenities like viewpoints and a butterfly garden. Route and Transport Guide:

By Air: Hyderabad Airport (HYD) is the nearest international link, about 330 KM away.

By Train: Bhadrachalam Road (Kothagudem) is the nearest station, about 120 KM away. Hire a taxi for the onward journey.

By Road: Drive from KHAMMAM via Bhadrachalam and Eturnagaram. The roads are mostly excellent and pass through dense forests.

By Local Transport: State buses from KHAMMAM go up to Vajedu village. From there, local autos take you the final 5 KM to the falls entrance.
