Rajdari Waterfall

Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India
Rajdari Waterfall is the larger sibling of Devdari and is one of the most magnificent falls in Uttar Pradesh. It features a wider drop and a more powerful flow, especially during the rainy season. The waterfall is situated within the lush Chandraprabha sanctuary, providing a perfect escape into the wild. It is a man-made regulated fall from the dam, but it looks entirely natural. The surrounding cliffs offer a spectacular view of the entire valley below. Many visitors from Varanasi and Sarnath come here for weekend trips. The site is well-maintained with gardens and walkways for tourists. There is a small children's park nearby, making it family-friendly. The water eventually flows down to meet the Devdari falls. The air is fresh and the greenery is breathtaking during September. It is a significant spot for eco-tourism in the Vindhya region. The sanctuary around it was once a home for lions brought from Gir. Today, it serves as a peaceful retreat for city dwellers. It is truly a hidden paradise in the heart of India.
