By Train: Bhopal Junction Railway Station (BPL) is very close, about 3-4 KMS away. Habibganj (RKMP) is further, at about 10-12 KMS. The Bhopal Junction is the preferred station for ease of access to the old city. Auto-rickshaws are the most efficient mode of transport in the old city's narrow lanes.
By Road: Jama Masjid is located in the dense commercial area of the Chowk Bazaar. It is accessible by road, but car parking is difficult. It is best to take a taxi or auto-rickshaw and walk the last few hundred meters.
By Local Transport: Auto-rickshaws and shared tempos are the most common and easiest ways to reach this historical part of the city. App-based cabs (like Uber and Ola) are available but may drop you at the edge of the Chowk area due to traffic restrictions.
