By Air: Kullu-Manali Airport in Bhuntar is the fastest way to reach the vicinity.

By Train: Narrow gauge train to Joginder Nagar is scenic but very slow; buses are preferred.

By Road: National Highway 3 leads to Bhuntar, followed by the State Highway to Manikaran.

By Local Transport: Walking is the best way to explore the town; local buses connect to Kullu hourly.
