How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Chennai International Airport (MAA), then use a taxi or bus on the ECR to reach Mahabalipuram; from the town center, it's a longer walk north on East Raja Street or a short auto-rickshaw ride; By Train: Nearest major station is Chengalpattu (CGL), followed by local transport to the temple; By Road: Easily reachable by auto-rickshaw or taxi from the main Mahabalipuram bus stand; it is located north of the main monument cluster; By Local Transport: An auto-rickshaw is recommended due to its slightly secluded location, but it is a pleasant walk from the Shore Temple area.
