By Train: The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi Railway Station (JAT), about 320 KM from Gulmarg. Travel to Srinagar or directly to Gulmarg by hired taxi or bus.
By Road: The stream is easily reached by road from Gulmarg. Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (~2 hours). From Gulmarg town center, the stream is about 10 KM away on a motorable road that may require a local taxi hire due to union restrictions on outside vehicles.
By Local Transport: From the Gulmarg market, local union taxis are readily available for the short, approximately 30-minute drive to the stream. No further trekking or ponies are required for the general picnic area access, though hiking can be done from the drop-off point.
Note: This location is primarily reached via Gulmarg, not Sonamarg. (Summary maintains focus for ).
