How To Reach Parvati River

The Parvati River is the life force of the entire Parvati Valley, originating from the Man Talai Glacier high up in the mountains. How to Reach

By Air: Fly to Bhuntar Airport (KUU) (35 KMS). The river flows alongside the road from Bhuntar all the way to Manikaran. Take a taxi or local bus, and you will be following the river for the entire journey.

By Train: From Chandigarh (CDG) (270 KMS), take the road route via bus to Bhuntar and then Manikaran. The river will be your constant companion after the Bhuntar confluence.

By Road: Take an HRTC or private bus to Bhuntar, then a local bus to Manikaran. The entire road journey from Bhuntar to Manikaran (35 KMS) runs parallel to the Parvati River, offering spectacular views.

By Local Transport: In Manikaran, the river is always within sight. You can reach the river's viewing banks and bridges by simply walking from any point in the town center. The entire town is essentially situated along the river's edge:
