By Train: Nearest major railhead is Jammu Tawi (JAT), approx. 360 KM away; take a taxi/bus to Srinagar, then a taxi to Shutkadi.
By Road: Shutkadi is directly on the NH 1D (Srinagar-Leh Highway), just before the main Sonamarg meadow. It is a very easy road access point.
By Local Transport: Local shared taxis and public buses running between Srinagar and Sonamarg will drop you directly at Shutkadi village.
