It is home to the majestic Bengal Tiger, elephants, gaurs (Indian Bison), and a high diversity of reptiles, including the King Cobra. The park also hosts over 1,076 species of flowering plants. Tribal Heritage: The reserve is the ancestral home of indigenous tribal communities, notably the Kol and Bhumija, whose culture is closely intertwined with the forest, adding a unique socio-cultural dimension to the park.
