How to Reach
By Train: Nearest major railhead is Jammu Tawi (JAT), approx. 360 KM away; take a taxi/bus to Srinagar, then a taxi to Sonamarg.
By Road: Take the NH 1D (Srinagar-Leh Highway) directly to Sonamarg; the peak is visible from all parts of the main meadow. To reach the base, take the Baltal road for 4 miles, then follow the Kokarun Nar trail on the left.
By Local Transport: Easily visible from any point in the Sonamarg town area; local taxis can be hired to take you to the Baltal road starting point for the trek.
